1991 Mustang LX 5.0

I took in a really nice 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 for a check over, tune check, some exhaust work, and a fuel pump.

The fuel pump was making a pretty loud whining noise, so it was replaced with a Delco replacement, it's quiet as can be,

I also swapped out a set of Flowmaster 44 series mufflers. Here's a before and after, taken with my iPhone so it really doesn't do the new mufflers justice - they sound great!

The drivers seat also had had a bit of a lean to it, this is a common problem with these cars and is the result of the factory pinch welds letting go after time. I disassembled the seat and found the culprit.

Hard to tell, but the upper brace pinch welds popped.

Cleaned them up and re-welded around all the pinch welds and added a few new welds to strengthen the brace up as well.

Prior to welding, I straightened the seat frame to it's original position.

Looks good now!
